Prayers, please

I don't want to be a Drama Queen, or anything, but I could use some prayers tomorrow. I saw my dr yesterday because of some headaches I've been having. They are quick bursts of pain (needle-like pain) that happen on the right side of my head just above my ear, and on the left-side of the back of my head simulatnaeously. there are lots of really great migrain medications out there. let's hope that's all it is. and i'll be sending up a lot of prayers so you can see your little boy grow up and hold his little boys :)

Hi - don't know how on earth I found myself reading your journal - I think I clicked on CarolC's friends list instead of my own. But I wanted to stop in and say that I have those exact same headaches - have had them for years. They're just sudden stabs of agony, that make you gasp, and then they're gone, right? I get them most often when I'm stressed, or grinding my teeth. A couple years ago I had a freaky episode with my vision for about 1/2 an hour - I could only see the left half of anything I looked at. The right half was just bright twinkling lights. It didn't matter which eye was open, so it was something in my brain, not my eyes. Ran to ER, and the doc scheduled me for an MRI, after doing a bunch of neurological tests on me. One very frightening week and a LOT of doctors later, they decided it was just a visual migraine ( ... )

Many many prayers and good wishes for you. The not knowing part is often the hardest for me. I'm betting it is "just" migraines. I'll be thinking of you tomorrow!

You may or may not know that something very similar happened to me when I had my DD. You may want to ask your doctor about a Spinal Tap.
