Oh, that rooftop sniper scene. I have probably watched it a thousand times in the last couple of weeks since discovering the show.
I will never tire of hearing Finch say "It's not over, John. I'm close." Guh. Thud. So much in that one scene.
I so want Carter to find out that not only did John have nothing to do with Stanton's death, but that she isn't even dead in the first place. Even not knowing she's alive, I so hate Mark Snow manipulating Carter by telling her how John "killed" his female partner -- and that line in "Blue Code" "attractive woman. After he was finished with her, not so much." (Not that I'm hankering for Carter/Reese relationshippy stuff, just that I don't like Snow messing with her every time she decides she should trust John.)
IKR! The ending to Number Crunch is simply and utterly EPIC! I've re-watched it innumerable times and it stil maintains it's huge emotional impact for me.
So glad that you found this show and that you're a Rinch fan too -Yay!! I simply cannot forgive Carter in my heart for hurting Reese, and not just then either. When she tells him at the end of Baby Blue that he should have called the police and that she can't work with him anymore- I got mad at her all over again. STOP HURTING MY BOY, CARTER!!! All she ever does is argue and balk and make stink faces at them. It is not Taraji's fault. It is the way the character has been written. I just simply cannot ever, ever, ever stop holding a grudge against her. Apparently the boys don't, but I still do!!
