I think you make awesome pictures all the time and while I don't have any idea about what real photographers check for that picture Odd Eyes is just the most strikingly in your face one. Though I guess it wouldn't make first place due to subject matter, it can be the most fabulous perfect cat picture but well not complex enough probably.

Too bad you can't enter all of them.

Oddly enough, Odd eyed is the only one that fits the theme best :/ But in my opinion it's not interesting enough...and there is this bag on the right of the cat...annoys me a bit. I excluded Sunset pic because it's not a pose...but 2 cats and that reflection in water are still in the game...

thanks for your input :D

I think in Odd Eyed the background textures of the bag and plastics actually make it more interesting. And there is so much light doppling going on. Quality wise it is also flawlessly clear. I have no idea why your pics tend to come out that way. My own digital cam certainally doesn't do anything of the sort hehe ( ... )

Hehe, for someone who claims not to be a 'photo person' you notice lots of details and have sense of it :D

I submitted Lulu :D we'll see. The competition is good so I have no expectations...They used to give award, it was Nikon and later on Canon camera, but they stopped few weeks ago...too bad, I could use a bit better camera...

And about the camera...honestly you really need a good quality one, learn a bit about settings and sometimes use light editing, I use simple Picasa from google.

I can't decide either ,so I'm no help.

I think I know somoene who won that competition once though. She was a sister of my sister's friend, and the photo was of my sister's friend. If that makes any sense?

Also - what camera do you use? I need a new one, mine is slowly dying.

Those photos are all taken with a point and shoot? Wow. Thats very impressive. I can't get mine to take nice photos of sunsets or any thing like that.. however much I fiddle with the exposure. And now it claims to be running out of battery even when I put freshly charged batteries in... *Is in awe of your camera skillz*

Oh, and I was reading the comments above - do you know of any other photo-editing things to download free? I'm trying Picasa, but I want something where I can put frames and words on - any ideas? (I have been using the editors on flickr or photobucket, but they're so slow)

Yep, point and shoot.I guess I get lucky, especially because I take most of my photos in a quick moment, when something catches my eye. I am in awe that my photos are not blurry...

Well, Picasa let's you write text too but or frames...hm, do you want integrated, pre-made of you are able to use brushes and other a bit advanced stuff?

For 'dummy' one you can try Photoscape but someone told me it still has some small bugs so it might be annoying to use, but I haven't encountered any problems.
