The eyes have it

I went to the eye doctor and had my eyes dilated. First time I've ever had this particular test and it sure is weird. With my glasses on now, everything is blurry and gets clearer when I take them off, which of course is the opposite of how things usually work! When the doctor asked if I had sunglasses with me, I said yes, but it didn't occur to me

It's been happening to me too! I'd gone 5+ years without a check, but I'd expected that I would have got more nearsighted.

Apparently it's a sign of aging.
