In which I chronicle several experiences I've recently had in the shopping realm, which I thought you might find entertaining, edifying, thought-provoking, and/or diverting....
Good questions on the clothes. Reminds me of the recent deal about science-themed shirts being only for boys. I don't know why kids clothes have to be gendered. So with you that I'd rather just that clothes came in different varieties.
I am frustrated already that babies need girl/boy variants (and that people assume my baby is a boy unless I have her in pink or with a bow -- blegh). Also, why do baby clothes come in month labels rather than a size? Tall, skinny babies then have baggy clothes. Just sayin'
I put my baby in a grey dinosaur outfit today anyway. She was mighty and awesome and adorable.
