What is your nephew's name? I like Miles Joseph, but I like the name Luke as well. My favorite thing we did was getting the name book and going though the names (and making fun of most of them). Time will eventually fly, but it does feel like it's going so slow at the time!
What about Lucas (Lukas) Edward (or Joseph) and call him Luke sometimes?
I have found that one syllable names are much more annoying to say when the child is in trouble someday. Lol. Random, I know. I had a little boy named 'Reese' and it just isn't as easy to yell a one-syllable name at the spur of the moment. RANDOM? Or if you're just saying it in general. The little boy I had named Luke, everybody (kids mostly, and his family) called him Lukey. Same principle applies.
If people speak appropriately and not... you know... Lee Countyish... Miles could be said in 2 syllables, thus solving that problem. OR, you could always middle-name him when he's in trouble-- Miles Joseph, come here!
Lol, being around 16 preschoolers daily, I think about things like this. He WILL get in trouble sooner or later... be prepared. Lol. :)

For some reason I just don't like the way Luke sounds or feels in my throat. It sounds like it's getting caught or something.
I have this enormous baby name book but it hasn't been very helpful. There are so many weird names in there.
