So we've started to plan more of our Texas trip, and we're likely going to spend most of it in Mexico. Well, if we can do that without totally insulting my parents, who I know want us to spend all our time with them. We'd love to bring them along, but they don't like unfamiliar places and things, especially if they aren't in the same country as ( Read more... )

Reading your journal is better than spending an hour in the bookstore perusing guidebooks. You should be a travel writer.

I'm sorry I seemingly ignored your e-mail -- in fact, it set me onto a rabid course of action, and I am now spending three nights at Cabana Copal BY MYSELF in early May.

Hehe, no, not everybody. But a lot of bodies did. Mostly male ones.

Note: There's nothing quite like seeing a hot guy emerge from the turquoise water, wearing nothing but a mask, snorkel and fins. Then he shakes his wet hair, notices his penis-shrinkage, and runs for his towel. I watched this on my first day there, totally stunned, while sitting next to Brendan in a little cove area that's totally private. You'll get good at staring without trying to look like you're staring.

There's no pressure whatsoever to get naked. And there's no pressure to stay clothed, either.
