Getting used to sub-par conditions
I just wrote a whole long post. It got deleted when I clicked backspace and it went back on the web browser. It only saved my subject line.
Why does this seem so apt? I've gotten used to sub-par conditions on livejournal, it seems. I'm not even so bothered. Just will rewrite, i guess.

I'm sorry to hear that you lost the post.
May I suggest you install the Mozilla Firefox web browser. Then install the Lazarus Form Recovery add-on. It saves what you type online as you are typing and lets you restore it later. I use it and highly recommend it. It's free. (I'm not affiliated with the makers of Lazarus.)
Or write your posts in a word processor (the free LibreOffice Writer is good enough for me), then copy and paste them into LiveJournal.
