I hate whining and complaining on here, but I am so frustrated with how expensive it is to get health care in this country! Seriously, we have GOOD health insurance, and still, here I sit, stressed to the max because they do not make a generic version of Pulmicort and my insurance only covers 15 percent of brand names, which is 25 dollars. man 400 bucks is just outrageous! Do you have to pay the $25 or $375? I hate when their aren't generic versions of medications! But Auggie will be taken care of, one way or another!

we only pay 25, so like I said, thats really good insurance, BUT, she needs this med every single day for at least the next 2 years, plus another one thats 15 dollars a month, so thats 40 dollars every single month, which is a lot for us. And it just got me thinking, that I'm whining about 40 dollars, but if I had NO insurance, it would be over 10 times that much!! I just can't believe they can get away with that when they KNOW it is to save lives!

yeah prescriptions can be expensive! i remember, before chris got a better job, i was still covered under my moms health insurance and i had to pay $25 a month just for birth control! it was ridiculous and at the time we couldnt afford it. So i ended up going to planned parenthood and lying to them and said i didnt have health insurance so that i could get free birth control!
