So this morning we got up bright and early to head home... and the car lost all power on the hill up out of Jackson. Short version is that I need a new transmission which will take 3 days and $3500. >sigh<

The Great Plains are not so Great.
Day 12:
We drove. And drove and drove and drove. The Great Plains are big and open and I don't like them. It is unnatural to drive for that many hours and never see mountains. Not okay.
