Acupuncture FOR THE WIN
Thanks to my acupuncturist, I am having the first cramp-free period I've ever had IN MY LIFE.
Not that y'all needed to know I'm on the rag, but dude - 25 years of cramps so bad I can't walk changing to NO CRAMPS OR BACK PAIN is FREAKING AWESOME. -

I gotta say it freaks me out when I go to a birth and the woman has a shaved cootchie. First off, it looks like a pre-teen giving birth and secondly - HOW did they manage it with a big ol' belleh?? -

Birth and Death
Got home from a long birth, which ended awesomely, went to bed and was woken up to a phone call telling me that one of our friends in Sendai is no longer "missing" but is confirmed to be dead ( Read more... ) -
Well....
Aside from that check yesterday that was $65 instead fo $345 (still haven't been able to find out why that happened), I found out today that the people who "hired" me for postpartum this month hadn't called NOT because they hadn't given birth yet but because they randomly hired someone else. That's between $1500-$3000 I was planning on for this ( Read more... ) -

Why is there not a "positive" word for unvaccinated? Just like we intactivist prefer "intact" to "uncircumcised" because circumcised is not a natural state of being - I would think that anti-vax folks would have their own word for "all natural" kids. -
