As per request for posts from those on your LJ friends list, I will share the following: I am less than 2000 words away from the 50,000 word goal for NaNoWriMo. I hope to reach 50,000 before I leave to spend Thanksgiving at my baby sister's house.

First of all - thank you for this post! You certainly put a smile on my face with it, and it's so nice of you to post just because I wanted something new :)

I see you met the NaNo goal already. I still have no idea how you manage to write that much in such a short amount of time. I'm too much of a perfectionist for that, I think, so I spend too much time looking at words and thinking of the best way to write some scene instead of actually writing it. Anyway, congratulations on getting to 50k!

The video is so cute, btw. What are the people doing in the cardboard box? I think my favorite is the honest pickpockets one.

I had to stop myself from rewriting stuff. In fact I have a whole chapter that I am either going to rewrite or just leave out because my characters and I got into an argument and I lost. :) It was like the second day of writing too. Finally, I threw up my hands and said, "Okay, I'm just going to write what comes, even if it's not something I want to write."

Because of that, I actually have a chapter full of zombie talk, but that's staying because it's PG-13 rated, makes some good points, and amuses me.
