Alrighty, noted! The white ink seems pretty popular. :D

Black and white looks nice and crisp, but if the black and gold all looks one colour with actual shine instead of that lame gradient effect, it might be worth it to go for.

If you're going for the reverse, if the gold is actually gold, a gold background with the black words and image might actually look pretty nice. With just the white background it has a bland look that I don't think suits the rad-ness of your art.

Haha, yes, definitely actual gold ink and not a weird gradient thing! xD I just put that in to ~communicate~ the goldness.

Sweet. People seem to be mostly coming down on the side of black background. That helps a lot!

As much as I do love me some shiny (and trust me, I like my shiny ;A;) I'd say the black with white ink is better.
And then if you do the goodfu design, you could inverse the colours. 8)

I think you're probably right. Maybe I can save gold/black for something special when I inevitably do a logo revamp. 8D

I suppose it depends on what you want? I think they're all quite solid, really. Although you could go for black/gold for badfu tags, and red/gold for redfu tags? This is primarily because I also like the shiny.
ah, yeah, go the gold/black. Combinations of gold/black/red/white are my favourites, so I am biased in that respect... BUT I JUST REALLY LIKE THE GOLD OKAY?

I would /love/ to do red/gold tags but I haven't been able to find any where to get them on the cheap. ;_; I have to remember this is just a fun touch and not something I want to spend all the dollars on. @_@

LPH made a good point that black/coloured tags would show through white shirts argh. So I'm going to need white tags of some sort orrr only offer black shirts. :D;;

bugger about the colour tags price :/
although about the black tags/white shirts...my PT shirt is white with a black tag? I find it to be no real drama.
