Lord Beckett sat impatiently as the artist worked diligently on his portrait. He would have preferred to have hired a sculptor; a marble bust would be more fitting his status and position. Unfortunately, there were none to be found in this godforsaken provincial backwater Lord Beckett found himself in. Not to worry. His time would come once his armada destroyed the pirate lords. Ridding the seas of piracy would guarantee him at least knighthood. Beckett smiled to himself as he imagined his bust alongside those of Drake and Raleigh. Sir Cutler Beckett. Had a much nicer ring to it than Lord…actually.
