hey, if you and beau are going to the movies, you should call my cell and I will 99% of the time be able to get you free tickets.... hahaha, being a manager now makes it so I can just call and be like, "um, I am having two friends come see a movie".... my cell is 936-9813
as much as i love that this pill will help cut down on the number of unwanted pregnancies and abortions in the US, i don't know how i feel about it being sold over the counter. i think it has some serious medical repercussions and is extremely hard on the reproductive system. and i worry that women will replace it for condoms as a lead source of birth control, and the pill in no way protects against STDs. i know that's not fair, but i do think that will happen. remember how dumb the general public truly is.
but all in all i am glad that this is being endorsed. though i liked the setup of going to a pharmacy to get it (without needing an actual prescription) better than this over-the-counter decision.
but that's the thing, they do have to go to a pharmacy. I guess I didn't make it really clear. They still have to go the pharmacy and buy it. I mean, its not like they can just go to the aisle in the store and pick up a box of them. That is how they will control it so that people under 18 can't get it. but not needing a perscription IS what makes it "over-the-counter".... and um, ok, I have taken it, well, you know how many times.... and I am fine. nothing has happened to me, and honestly, its been over a year, and over 3 since I took it the first time, if something were to happen, I would have SOME idea by now...
yeah, i don't think that it effects everyone the same way, but i know some people do have crazy reactions to it that throw off their whole menstrual cycle and can cause really bad cramping and excessive bleeding, and other PMS problems. i think that there should be a limit on how many times you can take it like in a year or something (maybe there is). i just thought they were putting it on the shelf because it's already been available at the pharmacy...i get it now :)
cute journal, by the way. i am only seeing the cute colours on the comment page, but i will go look at the rest in a minute :)
