And another thing...

How, exactly, does one know when they're "ready" to have kids? Everyone I know who has children says that if you wait until your ready you'll never have any, and everyone I know who do not have children have a specific something that they're waiting for that will tell them when they're ready...?

Sigh. Can feel eggs drying, cracking, turning to

well, i had parrots instead of children, but if i had known how much trouble they would be (how like human children) i certainly would not have had my "first" (now i have four). i think if you aren't DYING to have children don't!! honestly, kids are such a pain, always crying and wanting stuff and your life narrows down to doing what the kid wants constantly. when i am in the store and hear "MOMMY I WANT THAT!!" i thank god i do not have one of those things (kids) following me around. i think it is funny that many people want a "BaBY" but you hardly ever hear people dying to have a cute little teenager or even toddler! well hope my UNmaternatistic tendencies have cheered you. ;-) n.

He was definitely an odd bird...But it ends on a decent note:

He spent his final years tearing around my father's house terrorizing the cats, one of which he so completely conquered that it ended up spending about 23.5 hours per day hiding under beds and sofas....So he did have his fun from time to time. Scarred that dumb cat for life at any rate.

[This particular cat was a Persian belonging to my crazy ex-step-mother- at one point in time she even had braces on it's teeth to correct an overbite. It was the exception to my M loves all cats rule]
