Been an interesting couple weeks. I was sitting in my livingroom about 10pm, when my 3 girl dogs all ran in panting heavily and covered with blood and slobber... 2 of them had apparently had a heck of a fight, looked like the third one tried to break it up and got a punctured ear for her trouble. OK, so 10 percent of my job is taking care of the easy stuff on all the computers in the library. All the instructions are supposedly online. Well yesterday was... interesting. I was rejoicing that I would get off work 3 hours early because they were closing the building for a fund raiser... wellll... they were already decorating when I arrived at work, stringing fairy lights and who knows what-all. Well the good news is that my spinning wheel sold (and for a reasonable sum) I'll get that money this weekend. The bad news is it will just about cover the vet bills this month and April. Nothing really bad there, just one of the dogs needs some dental work and another needs more blood tests, and a third has his semi annual ear infection going on ( Read more... )

Well I have had 10 days off work... not enough, I want 10 more, but it's not going to happen. I have sorted a few boxes, spent time with my husband, fed cats and fishies whose owners were out of town, (and cleaned more cat boxes than I ever planned to, uhg!), trimmed the dogs toenails, given the poopy cat a bath, read 4 books, slept alot and taken ( Read more... )

Spent most of today online chatting with a friend, waiting for the weather to let up so I could drive home from Ever's where we are exchanging cars, she is taking my prius on her road trip... great gas milage, and I am driving her car this
