The other night, I had a dream about one of my best friends from high school. We shared a Christmas obsession (we even had a Christmas in July every year), so I sometimes think of her at this time of year. So, I accepted a position at Mass General's Cancer Center. I'll be working in the city on important projects with a lot of very talented people. It's going to be a great learning/challenging opportunity, and I'm very excited. Woo-hoo!

So, I told work that I am looking for a new job...because I am incapable of being a down and dirty politico. No, really. I'm not ruthless at all, apparently. But it all works in my favor, because although my boss seemed suprised at the timing she knows I have to leave there to "move on up" and she's going to give me a great reference.
