Unexpected: The Gorizia C.A. Seghizzi event

Yesterday was the most unforgettable experience of a lifetime: Competing with the "best" choirs around the world. Yup, I saw choristers from Lithuania to Uganda, young and old, and their choir names are kind of odd ( Be Sharp! from Netherlands).

5 of our male singers (4 basses and a tenor) just arrived from Manila to Frankfurt last 4th of July. And we had a hard-time to adjust (the blending of the sound, the personalities, etc.) for just few days, while the ladies are all complete, and they rehearsed for two months and they are already balanced. And they didn't make it... Worse, I still have no idea how did we sound in the mixed category.

We will be back in Europe next year for another competition... without the female singers. :-(
