I can't figure out what the standard is for breaking down the LJ entries-- any advice?

I am kinda good with the lj-cut but it sometimes doesn't work for me, and if it does i do nmy snoopy happy dance, but if it doesn't i just post the link.

You mean sometimes you have trouble clicking other people's LJ cuts? or posting on your own?

Both. Do you use RTE or the HTML editor because the rich text editor is for people who can't work with the html but it is known for having bugs like the lj cut one. So sometimes it works and sometimes not. I hope I helped.
