Whenever I think of Desmond's birth, I think about how I should have stood up for myself and not let myself be bullied into the c-section....I can't think of it any other way.....

I understand. With my oldest, my birthing experience was just...I don't even want to think about any of those 46 hours. As a result of the doctor NOT listening to a damned thing I said, I tore to hell (26 stitches inside and out), and my child ended up in NICU. :(

Annika's birth healed me in ways I don't think I could even describe. Yes, it was a hospital, yes I was induced with cervidil, but after that, i was left the hell alone. I was allowed to have anyone I wanted there, I was allowed to EAT whatever I wanted. It was awesome.

i like the website thank you for finding and sharing. and it doesn't matter that you were young. I was 27 and got steamrolled for hours with Patrick, tubes everywhere, i felt like a science project, people yelling at me, hell. It took my dad threatening lawsuit to get them all to leave me alone and I feel lucky that he was there. You'll know when the time is ready to talk about it. And we'll be here when you need us.
