LJ was EVIL and took away all of the userpics that I had EARNED and been given for being a loyal customer for so many years. GRRRRRR-RRRRR! That is SO not cool. >:(

It's not so much losing the icons as just not having them to use here any more. That's just really really annoying because I EARNED them. And they just fucking took them away.

Hmmmm, let me go back and explain. :)

So when LJ started you got, say, 6 userpics with a free account and, say, 20 userpics with a paid account. Every year that you had a paid account you were given, say, 2 extra userpics as a gift, as a thank you, that never went away. So after years of being a paying member I had, lets say, at least 20, and I suspect closer to 30 userpics that I had earned (my term) over the years. When I was last active, they were still there. But sometime between then and now I was stripped of the right to have more than 6 user pics, even though the ones I had were earned and gifted to me. So I came back to find all of the icons there, but only 6 could be actively used and there was no way for me to choose which six.

So no, I don't feel better because basically the new owners of LJ took away something that was mine and given to me, rather than honoring what had been done by the previous owners of LJ, and that is shitty of them.
