Barring a Christmas miracle, as it were, I will not be spending Christmas with my mom back east. Can't find a subletter and there are too many unknown variables for me to be able to make any kind of rational plans or decisions other than to say "Fuck it!" and give up. Do not go see a high-stress, anxiety ridden, fraught with tension movie like Take Shelter when you're feeling depressed, stressed out, and anxious.

Adventures End
Thanks to everyone who gave me advice about my car! I finally figured out where the coolant had come from. There's a little pressure valve at the top of the coolant reservoir. Somehow things got hot enough/high pressured enough to make it, literally, blow its stack and spray all over like Mt. Vesuvius. Guess I'll find out on Monday why that was ( Read more... ) -

My life has been very adventurous lately, and not in the good kind of ways. Lots and lots of work between SIFF and painting shelves at Scarecrow. Got a parking ticket. I feel like the world is falling apart all around me and there's not a damn thing I can do about it.
