Oh wow, I didn't know they had Lysol mini bottles. Perfect way to lighten the load on a fursuit kit and for that purpose you mentioned above! Thanks for the heads up. :3

look in the checkout lines. If you can't find 'em, email me and I'll find a way to send you a couple.

Sounds like a change for the better. I can see where such revelry might actually endanger runners and bystanders.

Now if only they'd do something about our Daytona at spring break. Last time we went, I nearly had my shirt ripped of and...well...you've seen pictures of me. It's pretty obvious they were too drunk to even care WHAT they were grabbing at.

I'd agree---a change for the better. The runners stay to the left and are usually not as affected. It's the walkers in a group and especially the first couple of miles, well, it's an adventure!

One year I did get hit with a shopping cart by a couple of keg wheeling weirdoes in Golden Gate Park--and yes, it would be NICE for that not to happen again!

The tortilla flinging, responsible beer carts, centipedes, etc are actually a big part of the fun...

groups of people carrying an object or similarly grouped runners with a common theme.

Although, my pictures, especially from the first year I did it in 2001, are much more risque.

my dad saw the race on TV for the first time back in 2001, and said "I wanna be out there!" So, for a few years, I'd walk the race with my parents. They were usually in better shape than I was when we got to Ocean Beach.
