Cover letters are the stupidest custom ever and half the reason why I stopped applying for "real" jobs right after I graduated. I'm sorry you must be subjected to them now. If I'm ever in a position to hire other people, I'm going to request NO COVER LETTERS.

aww, i feel ya, car. i'm in that same place in my life and it SUCKS. best advice i can give you is to get your resume looked over by someone at the CDO at goucher. you can email it to them and they're happy to help alums. i just revamped mine and it's AMAZING what a difference it made. i may actually get a job with it now! best of luck in your work-seeking journey, it's a rough road but you'll be ok :)

nah, i've narrowed it down to something involving writing -- maybe editing, journalism, that kind of thing. lord knows i love to write! :)
