Well, Grandma's dying. I went to see her yesterday, and she's pretty much gone. While we were all saying goodbye she made some noises that indicated that she was at least aware of us. And she did try to hug mom. Yeah, we don't expect her to survive the week. It's sad, but the good thing is it's old age, and she had an awesome life. I love ya ( Read more... )

They changed Fett's voice? ARG! Don't watch Return of the Jedi, they changed a ton, including Vader's ghost at the end, it's now Anakin from the third movie (twitches). Stupid changes!

I'm sorry to hear about your Grandma Matt (huggles) it must be really hard on you guys. (huggles again)

Yeah, they replaced it with the guy who played Jango. I wouldn't mind, except the inflections are totally different, and give a wholly different feel to the lines. >_< And the Emperor...the even changed the dialog! Blech. I didn't mind the changing of Anakin's "ghost" and the end of Jedi, and I felt that, at least, was appropriate.

I was horrorfied about them changing Vader's ghost, they need to stop changing the movies! I wonder, do the dvd version give you the choice of watching the original version and the new version or are you stuck with just one? I have the originals on vhs and if I can't get the original on dvd I refuse to update.

Poor Fett, I thought the whole clone thing sucked ass with him. (snorts) Stupid Lucus and his messing with classic characters.

yeah, no choice. You're stuck with the "improvements" and I regret letting go of my VHSes to a friend....granted, I don't have a VCR player in my room, so it's a moot point. :p Maybe I'll find the original copies online and burn them or something, I dunno.
