It finally happened...

For the first time in three years....

I have been sober for

3 days & 6 hours!!I have finally made the decision to stop living my life in such a fog and experience the joys I once used to. I took a leave of absence from work and have been going to AA every day. Right now I am with my family in Stuart. I will go back to work on Monday

I don't think it's condescending at all...I keep telling everyone how proud I am of MYSELF. :-) I have a running count of how many days sober it's been on my dad's refrigerator. Let's see...right now it's 3 days and 19 hours. It's getting easier every day.

Never thought it could happen...now I just have to stop eating so much! What can I replace the beer with that won't be another vice???? I think I'm going to have to go with exercise, and when I get back to work, I'm sure I'll stop eating so much.
