My sister made me a photo album/scrapbook for my 21st and I absolutely loved it, seriously it was like the best present I've ever received.

yeeey! love the scrapbook, the photos look really great on black paper. mine has brown paper so i'm going for an earthy look cos Rob loves trees and stuff :D I have to finish it in 2 weeks :S

The tree's super cute, love ribbon on trees, its how the yanks do it :D I also desperately want a sewing machine, i think i'm gonna start a fund! I've found one in garforth for £40 and it has looooads of settings, i want it so bad! Hand sewing is indeed a ball ache, and i always stab myself :(

I did mine over a couple of evenings after work, it didn't take me long at all!

I'm not even bothered for loads of settings, I think the one up there is around £30 off amazon and that'll do for me! I don't even want to make things to sell, I just love making things! It's the ideas I'm lacking in. It'll be worth you buying one though then you can start making loooads of different stuff for Etsy :D

That reminds me, i looked for stickers in leeds (but couldn't find any good ones) but i havent checked on garforth main street yet. I did buy some cardboard push out shapes, i don't really know if you're supposed to use the actual bits or use them as stencils but i used them as stencils anyway. There's decorative frames and fancy swirly shapes, i have tons of coloured paper you see so it's finally got a use.

I saw that one on amazon and was going to get it but was put off my the reviews, but anything's better than nothing and at £30 you can't lose really! i want one so bad. I wanna make purses and stuff, even though sewing in zips is scary hard (do you remember making them cushion covers in textiles at high school?). Making things is sooooo fun, you should bring what stuff you have to mine and we should make lots of things! I have loooads of stuff; felt, lace, buttons, cardboard, i'm trying to collect everything so that i can make whatever i want at any time :D

That's a shame you couldn't find any stickers but I'm sure it'll look great!
I have loads of patterned paper that I like NEVER use!

Yeah they're all like oh I couldn't figure out how to work it and the thread snapped, well cheap thread snaps even if you use a needle and thread so that's probably why!
I think I'm gonna buy myself one and then go to Samuel Taylor's and go crazy!
That's such a good idea!! I'd love to come over and be all crafty!! Wow I'm scarily excited about that haha, I'll have a look through my jewellery see if there's anything I don't wear anymore that you can take apart :D
