- Went to book hotel for our stay from Jan. 13th - 16th
- Had dinner at the same shop that we had the $18 HKD breakfast

Off to HK tomorrow! Seems like it was just yesterday when I was still counting down the days... Anyways... update when I get back.

After 3 days of being on strike, our buses and subways are up and running again. Never thought I would say this, but I actually missed those damn buses and trains. It was horrendous trying to get around the city these past 3 days. Even though our company has provided transportation for us to and from the office, it was still torture ( Read more... )

I volunteered for this event yesterday for a non-profit organization that was having an annual sale benefit. It was a great event and there were lots of people there. Free food, free drinks and at the end... free goodies too. Each volunteer got a goodie bag filled with cosmetics (make-up, lotion), jewelry etc and anything food/drink related ( Read more... )

At first we were going to be staying with a relative, but then we found out that they live sort of in the rural areas so it's a long way to all the shopping / food areas.
