Wedding Organisation Questions!

Plans are afoot now to organize myself & Bunni's wedding! To this end I have two questions:
  1. Has anyone used an online RSVP service, and what were your experiences?  
  2. Instead of a traditional 'gift list', we will be asking people to donate to our honeymoon fund instead. Of course, to enable us to plan accordingly we'd need to work out suggested ( Read more... )

2. I like that idea! :) If you want to travel the world, why not do it in backpacker style? Saves costs, get to see the world, and get fit too ;)

I was going to do the honeymoon fund thing for our own wedding and was discreetly advised by a number of my friends not to do that. :)

For your honeymoon fund, it might be a good idea to have a counter like you'd see for the parish roof fund at church fetes, with a total of around £2,500 or something. That way people can give what they want and leave a message too - ideal for people who can't come / aren't invited but want you to recieve a gift anyway. They can also go, "aww! they only need £50 more to get to £1000!" and give you that amount :D
