So I guess the dramatic reveals on the journalnets is the in thing right? It's been weird reading these things, I mean why are there so many freak'n Princesses here?! Next thing you know, we're gonna find out the Big Bad was really Bowser this whole time.--That was a Super Mario Bros reference for all you non modern, alternate universe types. It' ( Read more... )

Sadly, I can only include my Rick Roll references in keywords. live_ringer October 27 2011, 07:09:43 UTC
Should have known the two of you would end up in the same place. Does this mean Promise is getting an honourary uncle? Cousin? Startlingly older brother? ...Second dad?

As for the rest... you live, you learn, you change. That's about all any of us can do. So make the most of that second shot, hm?

DAD?! Heck no! Are you crazy.

...I have no idea how we're gonna pull this off. I mean, technically I won't exist in his world, unless there's another me and in which case that means there's prolly another Dollhouse and I am pulling Rick out of that world ASAP if that's the case. Maybe I could be his long lost younger brother?

No taking over the world. Got it.

About the dad notion, you and Rick are the ones writing about love and full commitment~

What we can't be in a loving committed relationship without me adopting his kid?

I do not want to think this is the last time we will see you. Partings are... they are only permanent if you wish for them to be, and I do not think any of us here wish that.

Genius is a good name! Your real name is very long and cumbersome, but Genius and Topher are not so bad! And Genius-san has always been a good person, as far as I have known, so I will continue to call you Genius-san.

I don't want to think that way either.

I'd like that.

Whatever your past, and whatever your mistakes, you are my friend. I value that relationship deeply.

I intend to find a way to visit you, and Castle. No doubt I will meet many other colourful characters as well when I do, but the two of you seem like a good starting point.

It may... take a bit of time to work out how to do that, exactly, but I promise you I shall, somehow.

I...that means a lot coming from you, Romana.

Dude, you're a Time Lord! You can totally come visit us in the Tardis!! We could be your Companions! That would be every fan boy's dream come true!

I'm holding you to this promise, ok?

Fan [pause] do you mean to tell me you have heard of Time Lords before?

The Doctor calls those he travels with Companions, true, but I am not sure [pen taps] you would have to ask him, I think.

I promise to find you again, certainly; I can offer no guarantees about the rest of your desires.

Er--yeah. About that. You're kinda sorta a part of a tv show back in my universe? Don't ask me how, it's probably a weird alternate universe thing. I used to watch Doctor Who all the time as a kid.

Heh yeah I guess so.

You better. I have a ton of things I want to show you.

There is no more important a lesson I have learned here, than the fact that one can change the course of one's life.

Guess we both learned that one. Funny thing is, I'm more unsure of my life than when I was 16 and yet I'm actually happier now.

I don't--ha. I can't go back home. There's nothing there. And I'm happy.

That does not seem so strange to me. When the path is open and not charted, all things are possible.

It should help if you no longer think of it as home. Happiness is home.
