Jack's feet moved on their own as his mind spun in lazy circles, thoughts returning always to the same three anchors- three Doctors, one hotel, one of him...and at least two of the three given to depression. The Doctor's head turned at the familiar voice, a tiny smile was chased away by the furrowing of his brows, something was wrong with Jack...

Jack laughed, but kindly. "I've had worse, Doc. At least I wasn't closed in long enough to die, right? Starving to death is a miserable way to go. No...That doesn't really bother me much." He needed more food in him before tackling the increased number of Doctors in the hotel. "But thanks for offering."

He thought for a moment, then sighed. "I ran into yet another you, a fresh arrival from this morning."
