So I saw an advert for the PS3 a few moments ago that promised that it would 'change the face of gaming'. NO IT WON'T. IT IS JUST GOING TO PROVIDE THE SAME OLD FUCKING GAMES WITH NICER GRAPHICS. Being honest, the Wii and DS are about the only things that make it seem like games have progressed much outside of graphics since my much-beloved 16 bit

Well precisely Ade, "change the face of gaming" - not actually change the content or concept, it's just a facelift. Ah, bless Sony and their unintended honesty.

Think you're a bit hard on the DS though - I do get what you mean and there is much truth to it, but the developers are developing games for an entirely new control system so they're bound to seem a bit gimmicky - and they've still been a lot of fun, no?
The Wii too. Warioware is almost entirely geared around eighteen different ways to use the controller, but it is just pure fun, and that's what they were aiming for. Plus, the entirety of Nintendo's gaming back catalogue (albeit fairly extortionately priced)!
I do take your point though, and I hope the systems produce some games worthy of their innovative...ness.

Haha, I'm still laughing at "stylus wankfest", wondering whether I could wank with a stylus, I think it would get lost...
Yeah, I know what you mean, but I do think you're just a tad bitter about the fact that I complete easily all the stylus based games and you cry because you can't get past level 1. Just face it, you need more practice with the stylus.
