this is the first hakuouki fic i've read and i must say i'm glad it was yours that inducted me into the world of hakuouki yaoi literature.^^ there were a few spelling errors here and there (mostly typos though so it's no biggie) but i commend your command of the english language and strong use of vocabulary. it wasn't entirely consistent in the beginning but grew in consistency and delicacy towards the middle and all the way through to the end. story wise i love how you made sano the uke first and then transform him into the seme later on in the story. wonderful character development in just a short span of time, it's really quite commendable.^^ especially cause i've always secretly debated which of the two would top the other and you have given the perfect solution (i, too, had resigned myself to the answer "they can always take turns on each other" xD) i love your descriptive abilities. it's difficult to keep sex scenes fresh and interesting and you've done just that (i'm just so sick of reading 'he stuck his cock into his ass' -_

ahahaha well i've been well into the hakuouki yaoiness, just that i generally steer clear of fanfics in general because there are just. so. many. bad ones. -_-;;; i feel like reading them would make my braincells commit suicide. luckily i took a chance with this one and wasn't disappointed! :D it's not my favorite couple (i'm still a big advocate for the greatly neglected souji x hijikata couple >3< --if you ever write a fic about them i will go mad with rejoice) but it comes a close second, especially after this fine read.^^

ahh well i suppose years of being a teacher/trainer have made its mark. xDD i don't even critique that way consciously anymore, i only realized when you pointed it out. LOL. well i'm glad you appreciated my feedback. ahh i haven't read the "be mine" fic yet. >3< got preoccupied trading on tinierme. do you have one? you strike me as 'the type'. lol

Well, there aren't many fanfics yet, since the fandom is young, but it will grow and more fics will come and I'm sure that not ach of them will be crap. Souji and Hijikata is good, I was a fan fo it too, but in the series it isn't that visible. It's more of a Peacemaker Kurogane thing. But I am considering writing one... "Be mine" has a small Hijikata/Souji hint. And I'm flattered to hear I made you fan ^^ I'm always proud if I can make a small fandom grow

You get such great comments so I always feel terrible when I hop in and praise the sex, as if it's all that matters to me. *nervous chuckle* I did love to see Sano top Shinpa very, very, very much, but I also liked the story!

I can easily picture this happening behind the scenes of that particular anime episode and if I put my Souji/Heisuke ship aside, I definitely believe that Heisuke left with Itou because Shinpa and Sano were lovers now. T_T It makes perfect BL sense.

Even if the anime was SAD, I'm glad they got Heisuke back as a rasetsu, what really happened to the kid was too goddamn tragic! There's a JP Shinsengumi drama cut into little pieces on Youtube and I cried waterfalls when Heisuke died. All Shinsengumi captains cried too... I wish I could get the whole epic tear-jerker drama from somewhere and really torment myself. XD
