omfg... people like Mrs. Lee piss me off SO MUCH. >.< there is no such thing as gender identity! it's a completely obsolete and foolish concept!

of course, Tae's mum is a giant douche, too, for forcing the poor kid to be the opposite end of the spectrum.

a child should be nurtured and educated, and allowed to grow naturally into whoever they truly are INSIDE. reproduction aside, there is no use whatsoever for forcing borders between male and female.

girls can wear pants and chop all their hair off if they want to, and no one bats an eyelash. so why are boys ridiculed, kicked around, and looked upon as freaks (or worse, but that's an f-word I do NOT use >.> and it does not end in k lol) if they grow out their hair and put on a skirt? it's stupid!

...ahem <.< >.> sorry for the rant. ^^; Take it as a compliment? I don't get this involved or react this strongly if I don't absolutely love a story to bits. hell, I don't comment at all unless it's something VERY special. <3

Thanks for reading! I don't mind the ranting, lol, in fact, it kind of pleases me to get such a strong reaction. Mrs. Lee is a kind of person I can't stand and the worst part is that she thinks she's doing the right thing when all she's doing is hurting Taemin more. At least summer camp will get Taemin away from her, right?

people like her are, imo, the basis for that old saying "the road to Hell was paved with good intentions." she may think she's doing the right thing, but she's only being a selfish, heartless, closed-minded bigot who is torturing and innocent child just because he happens to be different from what she thinks he should be. bitch. ugh, god... if she was real and I met this woman, I would rip her to shreds. >.and yes, the camp will get him away from her, which is of the good. I just can't shake this feeling of trepidation at the thought of him being at the mercy of a whole establishment dedicated to changing people to fit the standards set by blind, hateful cowards (who, of course, almost invariably turn out to also be religious zealots. and people wonder why I hate organized religion *scoff* not that it has come up in your fic lol. just tossing a lil slice of real life in there... (in my defense, it's 6am and I haven't slept yet ^^;; lol

Taemin's mum is just really terrible, but Mrs. Lee is just as bad. She's completely unhelpful and is only taking a hurt child and hurting him more, only the worst part is she thinks she's doing it for his own good.
