"Please don't tell me you got into a strange van with a man, Pete. You were gone all night." Sam was only a little worried. Gene was coming up today for a visit and he really was glad he didn't need to fill out a police report TODAY of all days.
It'd been three weeks since he last saw Gene and as he was coming up on a school night, there wasn't much time that they could stay together.
"Meet someone then?" Sam was skirting the issue of him storming off. And he wasn't even bringing up Sherlock Holmes. Not today.
