From sunrise to sunset, my existence dissolved into the humidity that surrounded my body's efforts to make music. I looked in each direction and had nostalgia remind me that every experience is leading me into something so deep and meaningful with my life. Wherever I end up, a sense of self gratitude and security takes over me now, letting me feel ( Read more... )

It's quite alright, I'm sure there are many that don't know what lucid dreaming is, although I would greatly encourage them to explore into it. But I lifted this from a site, and it gives a pretty definite defention of it, so lets explore this exerpt:

What is a lucid dream?

Essentially, a lucid dream is a dream in which you are aware of the fact that you are dreaming. You realize that your body is asleep and that each object and character around you is a creation of your mind. Once the dreamer has achieved this state of awareness, they can control their surroundings and the content of their dream to varying extents.

Lucidity opens endless doors to self-knowledge, exploration, and fulfillment, but it is not purely in the domain of "new-age science". Lucid dreaming is a scientifically accepted phenomenon which has been proven to exist countless times in sleep laboratories, and whose potentials are only beginning to be explored.

That's odd that you kept coming in and out of the dream. I bet that really messed you up. Maybe the person in your dream was an actually person that was having a dream about you too ( ... )

Oh man, I bet that was terrifying. I've had similiar dreams, except I didn't have control like you described, mine was more like my sub conscience controled it, and whoever I killed, I felt like a robot because I DIDN'T have control. Isn't it just fucking mind boggoling how much the mind can create?
