Oh stop yer pissin' and moanin! =P

Honestly, I could care less about the overall medal count and who is on top of that list. The media is to blame as well as the typical human mentality that you have to be better than everyone else. Point the finger of blame toward our crap media, not your typical educated American. When I watch the Olympics on television and the medal table has been shown it always uses international accepted listing of number of golds, silvers, etc... not this bastardization of overall number of medals you speak of.

The competition and sportsmanship between nations is what matters. Seeing human beings push themselves to the brink of physical, mental, and emotional exhaustion is awe-inspiring. Don't give those news sites a second thought Jeremy. Like all news media, it's crap.

As far as the 'World Series' title goes...I dislike that term. "National Champions" is more fitting. *shrug* There IS a world outside of the U.S. contrary to popular belief. ;)

He eats, sleeps, fills up his nappy, and fusses whenever we try and get some sleep...so he's a typical baby!

Mum and I are getting a bit more sleep then in the past couple of weeks as we're all getting used to each other. I may be biased, but he's a good boy, especially when he snuggles with one of us or smiles at us. Quite an amazing lad...now that may change next week, but we'll take the good with the bad. :)
