Ohhh Edgar... you're too cool to have to feel this way. Like I said... you really don't need this. And you're not stupid, and you're not useless, and you're not too needy- you want people who like you and you deserve that because you're always doing great for everyone.

No, that's not you. You're loads better than you're making yourself out to be right now, and I'll fight to prove it if I have to. You're not a waste of time- you're a loving, caring friend who sometimes just does way more than he has to, but regardless, you're someone who's funny and charismatic, and the people who don't realize it can screw off.

But I'm sorry I asked you not to be so down, because okay, yeah, you have a right to be and I just assumed you could magically feel better. But I guess, really, these things take time to get over. I feel terrible now.

I just don't want you beating yourself up, but I'm sorry for being so pushy about it. Just remember that you have people who love you for who you are.
