If any of you didn't know, my parents got divorced about 4 years ago and the drama started about 5 years ago. In a short summary-Dad decided he never loved my mom after having been married to her for 22 years and decides he wants a divorce. Ok, Shockfest bunch of tears, drama, and anger. Whatever. Fast forward a year and he marries his Secretary

Your step-mom really does need to butt out of the relationships between your father and his children. I couldn't imagine JoAnn getting involved in that fact Juerg doesn't even tell her everything that happens between me and him because it isn't her business and that is how it should be. Maybe Joe just needs to speak to Juerg...he will put Joe in his place!

No problem, and I can't say that I actually MADE that but I did take the time to steal it and upload it to my userpics. So that's saying something. Plus I think my crush on B.J. Novak (Ryan) is now rivaling my crush on Jim.

I don't know why people have to be like that. Maybe you all need to go to this counseling thing, and maybe the counselor will be able to fill your dad in on a few things. Also, is Step Bitch going to these sessions too? Because if your dad is so intent on you guys accepting her as family, she shouldn't be excluded from this. And honestly, I think she should be a part of it, since she is part (if not all) of the problem. Then maybe (probably not likely, though) he would see a clue if she refuses. Is she trying to butt in between you guys and your dad or butt you out?

Hmmm. Therein lies the problem. I don't which she is trying to do. She has done things that seem to be in support of each. I think she is just determined to make him see that we are the devil spawn of our mother. who knows? I think he is just in the throes of a midlife crisis.

Im sorry things have gone awry in your family. I wish I could help more. I think the counseling sessions may do some good for your dad- I know you and Mike and I know that the both of you are not in the wrong when it comes to something like this. Anyways, youre in my thoughts and prayers.
