It just happened this weekend. According to Publishers Weekly, they are now claiming it to be a glitch, but considering that the initial response that one author got when his books were de-ranked was "In consideration of our entire customer base, we exclude "adult" material from appearing in some searches and best seller lists. Since these lists are generated using sales ranks, adult materials must also be excluded from that feature."
