okay, here's what I'd write back to that guy:
"Dear ___,
Sorry, but you've tested far too highly on my "trying too hard to be cool and eclectically funny in a desperate attempt to separate myself out from the rest of the loser pack" meter. My best guess is that your email rife with not-quite-funny-but-almost-there comments and lifted lines from SNL was your idea of the most brilliant email you've written all day... and because of that, I weep for you.
