Maddie is pretty clearly dying. Maddie is my confused maltese who now stays in the kitchen sleeping all the time. We have had her since I was three and while she hasn't grown much in sixteen years (she looks like a little chicken after her last haircut) I think if she were an old lady I could diagnose dementia because she would have trouble with

i'm sorry about maddie. my dog's going through the same thing, only with him it's physical deterioration, not mental. it's hard.

i don't like toast. so i don't think i'd like cheese toast. alas!

I think Missy died a long time ago... a few years at least. Mom would know I suppose.
