I'm sooooo upset the doc think i may have Strep throat or i have to wait till next week to test for Mono cuz it wont show right away.

It just feels like everything is going wrong. :( :( :(

I thought you could only get mono once (like chicken pox) - once you got it - your body knows how to fight it for next time?
Or is that an old wives tale?

no the mono virus stays in the body for life, the immune system is supposed to keep it under control so it is rare to get it twice but does happen. I'm thinking it's prb just tonsilitis or strep throat at worst.
