Alternate Universe Details: Shortly before the events of Iron Man, Tony finds out about Stane dealing weapons under the table to terrorist organizations and allows it to continue. With Tony and Stane working together, Stark Industries doesn't stop making weapons, Tony never gets kidnapped, and the Iron Man armor is never created. SI remains the best weapons manufacturer supplying the U.S. military, and Tony remains a reckless, carefree, gambling, playboy, alcoholic jackass. He is mildly antagonistic with SHIELD and keeps tabs on them, especially since Pepper left him for them.
Additional Notes: Goodbye 3 movies worth of character development, hello Tony that we see at the beginning of the first Iron Man.
