[Magnus has been sending his usual round of texts back to her as they do every day and at least he remembered to get things for her birthday. He also has a few surprises. Once he knows she'll be home, and he's done with his work, he heads to her apartment with a few bags, knocking the door to signal and just heading right in.]

Orko! I've got dinner settled for us, so don't plan anything. You have while I'm cooking to go and visit anyone you need to.

[Darcy glances from where she's leaning against the kitchen counter, thoroughly enjoying her cream soda. The fountain drinks at the university just aren't as good as straight from the fridge.]

You mean I can't go out and eat everything at the sandwich shop? [She pouts, heart giving a little read: giant flip at his entrance.]

If you do, and then don't eat anything I cook for you, I'd be rather disappointed in you. [He gives her a quick smile and starts preparing the meal. Steak, because he's beginning to like red meat and it's entirely her fault.]

I have a few presents for you. You get one now. [He reaches into one of the bags and pulls out a neatly wrapped stuffed monkey plushy, handing it over to her.]

Presents? Plural? [Her eyes light up.] Best boyfriend ever. [The paper is torn away in less than a minute and she laughs.] Oh my god, it's so cute! [She's all smiles.] What should I name him?
