Why do you want to know?

You're not the slightest bit curious as to how they have such a firm grasp on death in this city?

No. I'd rather not know how.

Pity. Learning about it could be valuable insight.

There are some things I don't want to learn about. It's better that way.

I won't. There are some things that aren't supposed to be shared with strangers.

I didn't think sharing stories of one's death had much of a precedent.

It seems like a common sense thing to me.

Common sense doesn't factor in when it comes to situations like these.

What would, if common sense doesn't? How are we supposed to deal with all of this otherwise?

What we know as normal no longer applies. This world needs to be understood if we are to succeed.

Should you attempt to understand death if you're trying to succeed? Isn't that planning to fail?

If they can control it, there's no reason we cannot. Or at the very least learn how to avoid it.

[softenedbyme]

It seems avoiding death is a very simple thing to do.

[cigarboss]

If that were so, there would've been a lot less casualties in that last battle.
