[Clay's out for a walk. Because cold weather. He hasn't felt cold weather in...well, a while. As he goes to cross the street, he sees a damn good looking Chevy drive past. He jogs a little, waving for the driver to slow down. The traffic's not terrible on this street, so it's moderately safe.]

[Dean blinks a bit, and pulls over to the side of the road once he's sure that it's him that's getting flagged down. Pulling up, he turns down the radio and opens the window, reminding himself of the gun down the back of his jeans, and the one tucked under the steering compartment.]

Uh, hey there.

[broketheloop]

[Clay gives him an easy grin.] You going my way, stranger?

[Goddamnit, Clay. That could get you shot. In the foot, at least.]

[Dean blinks at him, then almost swallows his own tongue. Well, this is totally not something he is sure how to handle.]

Nice of you to ask, but I don't think I've ever gone your way, pal.

[Jo needed to get out of the Roadhouse. Progress was being made, but she still kept expecting Ash to pop out of his room or her Mom to walk in the door at any moment. It was tricky.

She wasn't looking for anyone on the street, but when she catches sight of a familiar car parked on a side street she keeps her eyes open for Dean. (It's doubtful Sam would have the Impala alone, she figures.)]

Well, look who's here.

[Dean is heading back to the car with coffee in his hands, and a smirk on his face. He's actually feeling a little bit better than he has been but he's still kind of upside down most of the time.]

In the flesh. [He leans against his car, then sips his coffee.] What're you doing out of the Roadhouse? I figured you'd decided to become a hermit.

[daddysknife]

I'd sure hope so.

[She leans against the car next to him after a moment, eyeing the coffee. She needs to go get herself a cup of that.]

Not yet. I have errands to run. Businesses require that. [And if she leaves the Roadhouse she doesn't feel as pathetic.]

[He gives her another little smile then offers his coffee.] It's Irish, so you know.

[Dean crosses his arms over his chest.] You need any help?

Dean! Hey, Dean!

[Look who's walking around blue again. Raven was out running an errand for Dr. Magnus and on her way back to the Sanctuary she spots him.]

Heeey, Raven!

[He stops his walk back towards the car and turns for her direction instead, giving her a smile.] How you been?

Good. [Everyone is alive and there aren't monsters, and she thinks she's happy.] Pretty good, you know. How are you?

[She saw Sam back. He looked older, but...she won't bring that up at the moment.]

That's great. [He stuffs his hands in his jacket pockets, shrugging a bit.]

I'm good too, I'm always good. Sammy's back, but he doesn't remember last time.

[Castiel was walking back from the library, books stacked up about five deep. He saw the Impala driving by, thought about waving and then thought of the physics of books falling. So he nodded at the car, and kept walking back towards the Yard. If Dean was driving around, then Dean probably was trying to work through emotions that were best when he wasn't around those he was trying to work through those emotions.]

[The angel wasn't sure if it was entirely dealing with his and Dean's continuing 'friendship-in-progress', but it was best to assume that it had some small part of it. Along with Sam, Jo, and of course, the end of all worlds as they knew it.]

[Dean spots Castiel, it's easy enough to do, and puts the car into reverse, backing into a space and rolling down the window as Castiel walks nearer.]

Hey. I'm guessing you could use a ride? All this walking must suck, huh?

Hello Dean.

[The angel looked at his stack of books, then at the car, then back at Dean.]

It is a little difficult to walk and carry items long distances, but I do not wish to impose on you.

[Dean just rolls his eyes and gets out of the car, grabbing half the books and putting them in the back of the car before reaching back to take the other half.]

I'm starting to think we should just steal half of the library to keep you occupied.

[ At one of the lights he ends up stopped at is a Kaylee crossing the street, tool bag slung over one shoulder, a scrap of twisted metal and wire in her hands as she pokes at it. She's just about right in front of him when the engine catches her attention. Now that sounds like a nice ... O.O!! THE LOOK OF RECOGNITION. ]

[Dean pulls around the corner as soon as the light changes, stopping the car in the nearest space and mentally going over the few things they need to get in. They definitely need salt, and they're out of a few kinds of herbs, and he needs to make an ammo run sometime today.

Before he has time to make a real list, he sees Kaylee, and he gives her a quick smile.] Hey there.

Heya Dean! [ She smiles brightly but she's quite obviously distracted by the Impala. ] She's even prettier in person.

[He chuckles and crosses his arms as he inspects the car himself.] Sure is. She could do with a wash, but the weather sucks.
