[As the feed flicks on, a hooded figure appears, one that those here on the Day of Arrival would recognise. No matter how you try to turn off your phone, it will not work, it insists upon showing you this. His head is bowed and he murmurs to himself for what seems like far too long. He snaps his head up, eyes fixed on the screen, and a half smirk ( Read more... )

video;

[Sweet troll jegus look how impressed she is. Not.]

Was that meant to be scary? Because only grubs and Tavros would be scared. That just sounded like the laaaaaaaamest story.

Only to those pathetic enough to be scared. Lame or not, it is what comes.

We're meant to save this world buuuuuuuut [and then there's a nice dramatic pause just because] what if our world is already gone?

Then that is an unfortunate state of events for thee. Mandalus can remain thine home if you have none.

Why would I want it to be my home, huh?

[Casually just shoving her face closer to the screen as she speaks because that is how to be rational. Maybe she's trying to use her vision eightfold on you man.]

Tis either live here or nowhere at all. Which is favourable in the end?

I'm dead.

[Sweet troll jegus she sounds casual saying that, yeah, she's pretty proud because hey it still stings that the blind idiot seer fucking stabbed right through her when she was going to save the day and her friends. Not that she would ever let on about the latter outside of John.]

I guess I don't care like I would have before all the stuff started. [Peering more intently, she narrows her eyes, trying to see if there's anything off about this because she doubts that this is something entirely human that she's talking to. Who wants to troll a troll?] I saw Alternia get destroyed and I was living in the Veil on an asteroid thing. So we were all sort of living nowhere.

Aaaaaaaanywaaaaaaaay [melodrama is her thing okay and you are kind of hamming it up to her dude] what are saving your world from? I'm the best, I got aaaaaaaall the levels, all of them, I can take it on and you can send all the crying grubs back.

Not here, thou are not. Or perhaps thou art. Matters not, really.

[He raises a brow at the way she says it, however. Being casual about being dead is a definitely curious thing, but he won't push it. It's not in his interests to do so.]

Perhaps none care, but living somewhere is better than being nowhere, supposedly. [He shrugs. Life doesn't mean much to him, in the end.] We wish to save it from something we have yet to come to know. A threat that I see only as the end to this realm, and all realms, but know not yet what it is. That thou will help is a very good thing. I am sure the ones I work with will be thrilled.

Wait do you know or don't you? Because I'm done with Seers. [Seeing as the blind one fucking stabbed her.

Trolls have a different view of the dead. There's no burying your loved one, you just leave that corpse right out there for whatever might come along and eat it. You have to be strong and she has killed a lot of trolls in games and then again outside of them too and ascending to the God Tier means dying and of course, because Tavros is a fucking weaky weaksauce crying little pathetic grub he couldn't even finish off what someone else started and instead left her to bleed to death in agony.

Any good feelings they'd started to build up were obliterated. It hurt and he couldn't be what she wanted him to be and she hated him even more.]

Bluh bluh who even caaaaaaaares? [Why is her vision not getting her a clear read on this, she hates this bullshit so much.] You don't even know what it is? Ugh you are the worst at this whole thing. You don't know what it is yet but you already brought us here to save your realm and all our ( ... )

You are awake and breathing. Does that not mean alive to you?

[He is ridiculously amused by her, because she's different and not just another human or someone who looks human. She's actually willing to be out there and loud about her opinions too, which is more than refreshing to him.]

T'was not my idea to bring you. It is as it is done, and preparations must be made long before we are close enough to it to know what it is. [He smiles briefly.] A mother is a matriarch, a leading female. Often she gives life to her offspring. Mother and Entity are the two alongside I.

I guess, unless it's heroic or just, death doesn't stick for the God Tier.

[Was it just though? There are lots of interpretations of just after all and if Terezi thought she was doing the right thing in the light of, well, pretty much everything thanks to the cycle of revenge and death then it might have been just. Because she woke up fresh and clean here. No torn hoodie, no blue blood splattering everywhere, no gaping hole in her middle. Has to mean something whether she wants it to or not.

Never tell Vriska that. She will probably be flattered and have an unrequited matesprit crush on you like Nic Cage. Every entity needs a teenage murderous troll girl getting her redrom on for him.]

Then who had the bright idea? Because they are worse at decisions and leadership than Karkat but they're better at not arguing with themselves and yelling in allcaps about everything. I haven't missed that at all. That's a human thing, we have the mother grub [and so much incestuous slurry] and then we get raised by a lusus, we don't have ( ... )

That would negate the idea of being godly, would it not?

[He smiles a little bit, watching her, because it's fascinating to see someone this different, and he is more than simply curious, but having his attention is most certainly not a good thing, in the end. He is generally the nastiest of the System, with a terrible sense of humour and several screws loose.]

A collective agreement that we would force those to aid us, given asking for help did naught but give us disappointment. We prepare for the coming, we know little of what we face, but we cannot sit idle. [He raises a brow at that explanation but chuckles faintly.] We guide, protect, and warn. That is all we can do. We each have a role but our... stats are a secret.

Trolls have different rules, we're not human. [Probably for the best that she talked to Jane about this.] It's God Tier, it's like the ultimate level at the top of the echeladder, more strength and wings and all that cool stuff.

[Vriska would argue it's a good thing but that's just trolls and more specifically her. She played a nasty game where she paralysed someone, got another killed for ghosts being summoned, lost an arm and her eye with vision eightfold, blinded another 'friend' (because they were all her friends once upon a time and maybe it could have gone very differently), got her ass kicked until she bled to death and then so on and so forth. Vriska has done terrible things. Yeah, she feels bad but only John gets to know that and where people might be watching? A girl would be flattered and try to make a friend.]

That's what I thought! [Aka why she was going to go and save the fucking day Terezi you bitch.] Gotta meet this head on and take the fight too it, roll the dice. [Man she has to point this out even if she ( ... )
