[Ruby comes over with Selina's breakfast, setting it down in front of her. She's got a carafe of coffee in the other hand.] Can I top you off?

[ Selina looks up, then smiles and holds her cup up for her. ] Thanks.

[It's bad enough that she can't hook herself up to any of the technology here. She's spent a long time trying, making modifications, but it's not like anything she's ever seen before, and the Major is all but ready to give up on it. She can't hack into any of the networks, which means she's almost blind and deaf in comparison to what she's used to. It's driving her mad.

But it's not the worst thing. Half her functions are playing up- however they brought her here, it's done something to the nano-tech her prosthetics use. She has basic functionality- she's human but the strength isn't there as she's used to, the dexterity. The speed

[ Selina lacks the tools to watch anything at a distance, which was why she picked the building closest to the one she was watching. Her eyes scanned over the floors with her infrared goggles, waiting for her target to make an appearance. She was tracking one very prevalent member of the business community, supposedly one that owned a lot of the construction companies that helped rebuild the city. Rumor is that he is developing a few things that could help navigate the underground. Selina isn't one to go into the depths of the city, but she knows a few people who might be interested in the idea of the technology. Or, at least the idea of knowing what's going on in the city.

The snow on the rooftop crunches and she whirls her head around to look behind her, glancing around to see who might be up with her. Knowing her luck? It's just a cat. ]

[The Major is heavy enough not to have to worry about the crunch of snow- there's no air left to compress under her feet but the cat, or whatever it is, is a welcome distraction. She's not so fussed about making noise now, close enough to see the figure turn, the catch of what little light there is on her dark hair and on the figure-hugging suit.

She steps out of the shadow, safety catch clicking off the gun and that noise is loud on the silent roof-top.]

[ At the sound of the other voice, Selina closes her eyes and a smile spreads across her face. Caught, hm? Standing up to her full height (plus for inches for those metal heels of hers), she turns her head over to where the voice is coming from. What is it with people hiding in the shadows? There must be a handbook that tells people it's the best way to surprise someone. ]

[Clad in costume, Spider-Man swung through the city. He wasn't quite sure this was something for him to handle, he hadn't sensed anything particular, but with the recent spate of thefts he was curious now.

Creeping up on people was a given for how quick and skilled Spider-Man had become and he crawled his way along the side of a building, stalking up behind her.]

[ The thing is, someone with a trained eye can see the costumed kid swinging around the city. Most everyone knew about Spider-Man to some degree. Not that Selina ever expects to run into him. She stands up, stretching ever so slightly. ]

[Regardless, Spider-Man headed along behind her, watching her stretch, and he stood up straight too, on the edge of a building.] You know, there's a cat burglar on the prowl, and you look an awful lot like a cat burglar would look.

[ There's a small jump before she whirls around to face Spider-Man, her hair fanning around her. She's going to start punching the next person who comes up on her like that. The only one she's never minded doing it was Batman, and that's just because it's how he is. ]

[ It's just a normal morning for Henry. Well about as normal as can be while tracking an abnormal with new software and an attachment on his Sanctuary phone ... no wait, that's still pretty normal for him. He would have just kept going on with his business but the great smell of food from the diner reminds him he just ate and ran this morning. Well, that can be fixed right up. And since he recognizes the person running the show inside he goes right on in and gets settled at a table next to ...

[ That is because it is her, silly. Selina doesn't take much notice to Henry. She's far too busy looking at the paper with a mild sense of interest, amusement, and annoyance all at once. Of course a random burglary would be put to her small reputation, even if she didn't do it. Just because she was following the man last night doesn't mean she robbed him blind. It turned out he didn't have anything she wanted. ]
